Stephanie is the General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer for LNG Canada.

The LNG Canada project venturers took a positive Final Investment Decision in 2018, and construction is now complete on the largest private infrastructure project in Canada’s history, with a proposed expansion project being developed. Since 2017, Stephanie has been on the LNG Canada Leadership Team and has led the legal support and governance for the venture. Stephanie manages a Legal team supporting all areas of project development, construction, operations and proposed expansion.

Originally from Edmonton, Stephanie completed her Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degrees at the University of Alberta. Following graduation, Stephanie worked at a national Canadian law firm and focused in the areas of M&A, midstream oil and gas joint ventures and corporate matters. For the past 22 years, Stephanie has worked for Shell in its Downstream, Midstream and Corporate areas, and now as a Shell secondee to LNG Canada.

Stephanie is a member of the Law Societies of Alberta and British Columbia, and is also a Past Chair of the Association of General Counsel of Alberta. When not working, you can find Stephanie at hockey arenas, cheering on her daughter, 19, and son, 16.
