Zoe KompstIndigenous Communications and Community Liaison, Vancouver Airport Authority

    Zoe Kompst is the Indigenous Communications and Community Liaison at Vancouver International Airport (YVR). A proud two-spirit member of the Musqueam First Nation, Zoe brings cultural knowledge and a commitment to community engagement to their role.

    Zoe holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Simon Fraser University, and has been on the Musqueam Land Code Committee for nearly a decade, helping guide decisions related to land stewardship and governance.

    In addition to their professional and community roles, Zoe is a cedar weaver. They have shared this cultural practice through workshops across Musqueam territory, helping to pass on traditional knowledge and strengthen community connections.
