Karyn Lewis, a proud BC First Nations woman from the Squamish Nation. She is the Manager of Regulatory Affairs for the Crown Mountain Project but her favourite role is mother and grandmother. Karyn is an experienced regulatory affairs and stakeholder engagement leader with more than 25 years of experience working with resource industries in Canada and internationally. Her expansive knowledge in various resource management areas include regulatory affairs, Indigenous engagement, investor relations, and project management. Karyn established the first-ever security reduction/evidence-based agreement to be included in a Nunavut water licence, approved by the Nunavut Water Board and signed by the Minister of CIRNAC to ensure security reductions are returned in a streamlined, expedited manner.
Karyn has volunteered as a jury member for the Canadian Council of Indigenous Business PAIR program since 2023.
