John Hill is a proud member of Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte. After receiving his Diploma in computer programming, he worked in the Environmental industry for 20+ years.
For the last 25+ years, John’s consultancy has been focussed on business strategy, economic development, governance, business process and performance improvement with experience in 20+ International Standards. His clients build their capacity by developing sound and reliable management systems.
His Indigenous owned Management Consultancy, Pioneer Performance Inc, has been a member of the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB) since 2011. Bound by a Code of Ethics as a CCIB PAIR Verifier, his work is continually assessed to ensure he delivers the level of quality required in the services he provides to his clients. He has met his clients’ needs by locating offices in both eastern and western Canada.
Known in North America for his extremely unique and advanced methods of instruction and implementation, his clients have come to appreciate his extreme passion for how they can benefit from the fit and function of world-class organizational, environmental or risk management principles. John has logged thousands of hours in explaining to people how creating clearly defined and documented methods and processes can add value to their business or organization. He and his subject matter experts have worked in fitting ISO principles into a variety of specialized applications, including, but not limited to… government departments, associations, community administrations, economic development corporations, nuclear, civil engineering, environmental engineering, professional services, construction contractors, IT security, AI, transportation, manufacturing, agriculture, aerospace, automotive, medical, food safety and construction. Additionally, he offers maintenance on most of his clients adopted Standards, such as outsourcing of key quality functions (Internal Audit, Management Review), performance improvement and overall system analysis.
John prides himself on his ability to align the fit and function of the ISO Standards and various Industry Regulations to people interested in their primary objectives: governance, leadership, involvement of people, accountability, traceability, transparency, communication, risk mitigation and organization.
