    Mindy Henyu is a proud member of the Tahltan Nation and Waterhen Lake First Nation, currently residing in Treaty 7 territory. She brings a values-driven, lived perspective to leadership and collaboration, rooted in Indigeneity and guided by empathy and integrity. Mindy is committed to advancing reconciliation and social equity through extensive experience partnering with First Nations, industry, government, and communities. She specializes in reciprocating respectful, trust-based relationships that produce meaningful, lasting outcomes. 

    Utilizing a strengths-based, community-informed approach, Mindy supports the creation of sustainable business, training, and employment opportunities for Indigenous Peoples, helping drive inclusive economic growth across Canada. Her work emphasizes culturally informed practices, shared decision-making, and the advancement of safe, inclusive spaces where Indigenous voices are heard and amplified. Mindy’s leadership honors Indigenous knowledge systems while promoting future-focused change for communities and partners.  

    A passionate advocate for social justice, Mindy is active in advancing Indigenous rights and addressing issues such as gender-based violence, food security, and child safety. She works to amplify Indigenous voices, support survivor-centered solutions, and promote culturally informed practices that strengthen families and communities. Her advocacy is reflected in sustained collaboration with Indigenous leaders and partners to advance reconciliation, cultivate safe spaces, and drive meaningful change for future generations.
