Sarah John is a member of Sagamok First Nation and a resident of Saugeen First Nation. She works in Indigenous engagement within the nuclear industry, where she focuses on building respectful, long-term relationships between Indigenous communities and industry.  

Her work centers on workforce development, capacity building, and youth engagement, with a strong emphasis on trust and practical outcomes. She has been closely involved in advancing Indigenous participation in training and economic development initiatives and is especially interested in work that brings community priorities into complex industry and regulatory environments.  

Sarah brings a thoughtful, relationship- driven approach to her role and cares deeply about ensuring Indigenous perspectives are meaningfully reflected in decision- making. She is motivated by work that supports self-determination and helps create lasting, positive change.
